Frequently Asked Questions

I am traveling from overseas. Where should I fly into?

We recommend flying to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) first, then traveling to Penang for the celebration via a domestic flight.

The celebration begins on 7.22.2023.

When should I arrive in Malaysia (if traveling from the United States)?

We recommend that you arrive a few days (approximately 4-5 days) prior to the celebration to adjust to the 12 hour time difference

How long is the flight from the U.S to KL?

Typically, the flight is 24 hours, including layovers and transits.

Do you have a recommended airline if flying from the U.S?

We highly recommend Singapore Airlines, Japan Airlines, Eva Air, Cathay Pacific or Qatar Airways.

How do I get from the airport to KL City Center?

Download the app, Grab, or take the KLIA Express to KL sentral, and then transfer to your final destination via public transport or Grab.

What are the means of transportation in KL?

The most convenient way to get around the city is by car. Download the app, Grab, to conveniently travel around KL City Center. If you’re staying in the city center, public transportation such as the KL Monorail or the MRT are also good alternate options.

The traffic and public transportation is quite similar to Los Angeles. Michelle recommends traveling by car/Grab instead of Public Transportation. If you’re staying in KL City Center, you may explore the city by walking.

Are kids allowed at the event/celebration?

Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate kids at the event/celebration. The event property has a strict no-kids policy.
